Auditory processing disorder commonly called Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) affects 5% of school-aged children.

Although children with CAPD have normal outer, middle, and inner ear functioning, they cannot able to process auditory information in the same way as other children process it, which causes difficulties in understanding speech and interpreting sound. Studies in this area reported that this difficulty happens due to dysfunction in the central auditory nervous system.

The professionals dealing with these children from screening, diagnosis, and management are Audiologists, Speech Language pathologists, and otolaryngologists. Recently, there has been a huge increase in public and professional awareness of Auditory Processing.

I am pleased to invite the authors to submit original research, reviews, commentary, case report, and short communication to a special edition of our journal to update knowledge among professionals and researchers.
